On the day of _____________________, a deposit of __________ has been received from Purchaser to be applied towards the total price of the cat/kitten described above. The balance due must be paid in full before the cat/kitten is released to the new owner.
The purpose of this deposit is to insure the Purchaser’s intent to purchase the cat/kitten described above. Once the deposit is received the cat/kitten will not be sold to any other buyer. If a cat/kitten is held specifically for a Purchaser, a change of mind can quite often jeopardize the chance for a particular kitten, having been reserved for the Purchaser, to be placed in a home while still at a desirable age. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable unless Seller cannot provide cat/kitten as described above.
This Deposit Agreement serves as a guarantee for the amount of deposit. If Seller fails to make available the cat/kitten described above, the amount of the deposit will be refunded to Purchaser.
Personal checks are accepted on deposits only. Please pay balance due with cash, money order, cashier’s check, or through PayPal. If balance is paid with a personal check, cat/kitten will be released to Buyer when the check has cleared.
